Simply Billing was established to provide a superior level of service that we think is lacking within the billing sector. We take a more personalised, collaborative and service focused approach with the aim of building long-term and successful relationships with our clients.
Julia went to university as a mature student (at the grand old age of 23!) and graduated from Oxford Brookes with a BA Hons in Business & Marketing. Julia began her corporate career with 3M in their European Accounting Centre. Several years at Johnson & Johnson followed, culminating in the key role of Head of Customer Services during the acquisition of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. This expanded her responsibilities to cover a wide range of medicinal brands such as Sudafed, Benylin & Calpol.
A role as Operations Manager at Gear4, a consumer electronics start-up company came next, which is where Julia really experienced all the challenges of running a small business. Delivering into high street retailers means that Julia can cope with the most demanding of customers.
Julia then took on the role of Operations Manager for one of the UK’s largest medical billing companies, where she managed a team of 25 people, handling the accounts of 300 consultants.
Louise graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Geography and History from Oxford Brookes University and began her career on the Graduate Programme at McDonalds. By the age of 26, Louise was running her own store, in effect running a small business, with responsibility for managing the profit & loss accounts and a team of 75, whilst meeting the exacting standards of a large Corporation who pride themselves on exceptional customer service. Louise further broadened her retail management skills with a move to Safeway.
Louise then applied her knowledge and experience at a start-up company, project managing the design and creation of websites for Opticians. This developed into working closely with the General Optical Council, creating online Continuous Professional Development programmes for Optometrists and further, expanded into working with Pharmaceutical Companies creating online programmes which informed GPs of new drug developments.
Louise joined Simply Billing last year where her extensive knowledge and experience has helped the business grow to where it is today.
